Lane, a successful doctor is chagrined to discover that her Brazilian maid, Matilde, hates to clean and dreams of being a stand-up comedian. Virginia, Lane’s sister, loves to clean. Lane doesn’t have to clean. As Lane’s life slowly unravels, Matilde continues to search for the perfect joke. Illness, death, dirt and the quest for the perfect joke all play central roles in this story of uncommon romance and comedy.

The production team for The Clean House includes company members Christine Louise Marshall (Costumes), Jennifer Hahm-Perazone (Stage Manager) and guest artists Max Jones (Set, Props) and Joan Sand (Lights).
