Jennifer discovered the exciting world of technical theatre at Judson University in Elgin. It was here that she developed her interest in stage management.

After college, Jennifer got involved with Antrim Theater in Suffern New York, just outside New York City. For three years she was the resident stage manager. She was also a member of the play reading committee, the Board of Directors and director of several one acts. At the same time she was teaching acting classes for children.

Moving to Maine, she continued to teach theater in after school drama clubs and at the Longcreek development center. She stage managed Pippin for The School House Arts Center, and Steel Magnolias for the Freeport Community Players. In 2006 she was a production assistant at the Portland Stage Company for I Am My Own Wife.

That experience lead her to the Mad Horse Theatre Company where she has staged managed Hedda: A Re-Vision, Of Mice and Men, Long Day’s Journey Into Night and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Jennifer is looking forward to working on the fall 2008 production of A Children’s Hour. She was pleased to become a member of Mad Horse in 2008.
