Mad Horse is proud to produce the World Premiere of Maine Playwright Callie Kimball’s ALLIGATOR ROAD. First presented in last season’s BY LOCAL playreading series, ALLIGATOR ROAD is a funny and slyly smart play that unfolds in Florida’s oldest family-operated hardware store, where the owner, having recently lost her husband,  is preparing to give the store away to a specially chosen recipient. Her daughter’s arrival throws a wrench into the plan, and once the new owners arrive, things become even more tangled. This play examines the power of family ties and the cost of reaching out for new beginnings.
