Danny is a director, educator, and arts leader who is a Lecturer in Theatre and the Head of Performance at the University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre, teaching acting, musical theatre performance, and the business of performing arts. A native Mainer, Danny moved back in 2020 after living in Boston for over a decade. While there, he was the Founder/Executive Producing Artistic Director of the Create. Inspire. Change. Theater Company, a professional theater whose mission was to bring theater to underserved students and families.. His students can be seen on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in regional theaters across the country, including The Vineyard Theater, North Shore Music Theatre, Theatre by the Sea, Maine State Music Theatre, and The Muny, as well as on TV shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Danny recently attended law school with a focus on entertainment law and business, and is licensed to practice law in Maine. Danny passes this knowledge on to his students through his Business of Performing Arts and Arts Administration classes, and uses these skills through his role on the USM Department of Theatre’s leadership team. Skylar is an avid theatre fan and a passionate theatre maker who is thrilled to join the Mad Horse Board of Directors. By day, Skylar can be found working in Museum Visitor Services. By night, Skylar is often found in a booth Stage Managing a production or in a seat cheering one on. Skylar is currently living and working in Boston, MA.

Cheryl was first introduced to Mad Horse Theatre Co. in 2013 with Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, and then began volunteering with Front of House and concessions a few seasons later (remember the smell of fresh-baked cookies?). It is a true delight to welcome people to Mad Horse and share in their reactions and post-performance responses to the storytelling following each production. Cheryl is grateful to be part of Mad Horse Theatre Co. and to support the extraordinary effort that goes into each performance.
