Allison McCall - Artistic Director

Allison has been a proud member of Mad Horse Theatre Co. since 2015 and is the current Artistic Director. On stage roles with MHTC include: The Humans (Aimee); The Minutes (Ms. Johnson); Women Laughing Alone With Salad (Tori/Joe); Tumacho (Catalina), Heroes of the Fourth Turning (Emily); POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive (Jean); Dance Nation (Ashlee); When We Were Young and Unafraid (MaryAnn); You Got Older (Mae); Radiant Vermin (Jill); The Tomb of King Tot (Atlanta/Tot); Reasons to be Pretty (Carly); Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson (Rachel Jackson); Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play (Maria/Scratchy); Trevor (Ashley); Lysistrata (Myrrhine); Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (Hadia). She's also sometimes a director (Really with MHTC, The Little Prince with CMTM, Come Home with Damnationland, among others) and playwright (The Husky Boiz Present: An Ode to He Who Walks Behind the Rows, Waiting for Alice, and Icarus and Daedelus) - found on The New Play Exchange. Other local credits include Good Theater, Fenix Theatre Co, Fox Bramble, Ziggurat Theatre Ensemble, PortFringe, Damntionaland various film projects, among others, and is represented by Dirigo Talent Agency. She graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2011 with a BA in Theatre and Art History, and studied Theatre/Performance Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2009. By day, Allison is the Theatre Coordinator of Maddy's Theatre with the Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine.
