Stacey Koloski

Stacey Koloski has been working with MHTC since 2010 and became a company member in 2015. She works as both a director and scenic/props designer, and serves as Company Manager. She is deeply committed to the resident ensemble model and the kind of rigorous, collaborative, and adventurous work it makes possible. She loves plays that take risks with structure and storytelling, which makes directing An Empty Plate in the Café du Grand Boeuf a particular joy! Previous MHTC directing credits include Titus Andronicus, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Deer, Mary Jane, and Quills. She is also a playwright and librettist. Outside of Mad Horse, Stacey collaborates as a director and designer with companies across Maine, including Fenix Theatre Company, Lyric Music Theater, The Portland Players, and Theater at Monmouth. She is the co-founder of STAGES Youth Theater, an original creator of PortFringe, Maine’s Fringe Festival, and sings with the a cappella group The Pine State Pitches.
